Hidden Life of the Cell

Getting a little tired of the Gnu Show, so I thought I’d take a break with a little cellular biology. Below is a documentary from the BBC back in 2012 that uses computer animations to illustrate what happens during a viral infection. It’s about 60 minutes long. And very good.

Thanks for the link. A fantastic channel for high-quality microscopy is this guy on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/MrInsight1979/videos

Hmm. I see Sam Harris has done something quite similar with his strange October 8, 2014 blog, “Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History” — except Harris’ linked programme is four hours long.

Is your one-hour linked programme, posted at so nearly the same time, a coincidence, or did you spot Harris’ blog and decide to do a clever parody (with geography accounting for your apparently earlier posting date).
