Greetings from an Atheist

Nicholas, another atheist, has joined us in the comments section.  He comes to us with that friendly atheist attitude:

Now here is another fact: you are a fucking indoctrinated, deluded piece of shit, and I wish to help you as a fellow human being living this existence which is completely and utterly absurd and devoid of meaning or purpose.

I’m not the only one who receives the atheist greeting.  TFBW is just as lucky to be honored:

TFBW: So, in short, you cannot even being to understand the most simple concepts in physics, and are just ranting like the fucking morally-bankrupt, moronic piece of trash that you are.

And the spirit of Dawkins lives on.

Probably scratches out “In God We Trust” on all his bills

  2. SteveK says:

Which reminds me…I haven’t heard any New Atheist activists scream and yell over using a Bible and saying “so help me God” as part of the inauguration ceremony. Both are a clear sign that a Theocracy is coming.

  3. unclesporkums says:

“morally bankrupt”? And he says all that?

  4. mechanar says:

I really dont understand why the new atheist movement crashed and burned

  5. stcordova says:

The hatred goes deeper than just against the faithful. Patrick over at TheSkepticalZone said if God exists, it’s our moral duty to kill God, and another atheist at reddit said he’s morally superior to God and he should therefore defy God even if God sends him to hell.

I don’t agree with astrologers, but I don’t go out of my way to hate on them in their blogs and forums. The hatred doesn’t strike me as just following Dawkins, but has the feel of a spiritual dimension if you know what I mean.

  6. unclesporkums says:

Exactly. Always on the offense. The tyrannical mindset laid bare.

If you help others based only in your own condescension and piety then you are not really helping no one other than yourself and if one life is “completely and utterly absurd and devoid of meaning or purpose” then there is not objetive good reason to do nothing, only unnecesary relativistic reasons, and even worse no reasons, convenence or needs at all in the materialism-naturalism-darwinism philosophy.

    —————————————————————————————————————————
    I will say:
    – Materialism problem: You need a objetive reason for all otherwise you are a irrational or/and emotional person.

    – Naturalism: Without meaning or purpose the very importance of this branch of philosophy is non-existent, no objetive, no even relative.

    – Darwinism: HELPING OTHER PEOPLE WITHOUT REASONS BASED ON REAL SELF INTEREST, USING THIS PHILOSOPHY, IS AGAINST THE VERY SELF SUVERVIVAL. YOU NEED TO HAVE THE ADVANTAGE, EVERY TIME, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE A PRIPIORI FACING EXTINTION. In this philosophy you cannot associate with the people that you consider inferior to you.

ST Cordova, are you talking about The Skeptic Zone blog that is run by IM Skeptical (known here as Skeppy)? That guy is a scientismistic twat, and his partner (Papalinton) is a king of plagiarizing.

As for Atheists, it seems like they want to think that God is a human (a man, specifically).

This one atheist on You Tube said that God should be convicted of the crimes he committed in the OT. Also, there is this one militant atheist & skeptic (Gerald Woerlee) of the paranormal (he wrote The Unholy Legacy of Abraham) who believed that God and Mary should be stoned because they had Jesus out of wedlock.

  9. One has to wonder if these atheists think that bad language and an aggressive tone are honestly supposed to be threatening.

  10. stcordova says:

    jbsptfn,

Actually it’s a very similar sounding blog by the same name. See:

    http://theskepticalzone.com/wp/

But Skeppy sounds like a colorful individual. (yikes).

The other guys you mentioned don’t surprise me. Many are intelligent, but they’re scary individuals, imho.

Interesting. I remember the atheist who murdered the three Muslim students. When that news broke out, I checked out his FB page. Among the various anti-religious memes was one that made the same point – if God exists, it’s our moral duty to go to war with God. I commented about it here –

Unfortunately, I did not save the meme.

    Hello people!!

Radical and Fundamentalist people share the same behavioral principle: The propensity and capacity of making anti-social interactions with people of different opinions than themselves.

These types of Atheist Fundamentalists are not different at all. Unfortunately, these are more common than ever –many religious, political, and agnostic(nihilist) fundamentalists, them, and many more–. Too many self-anointed “skeptics” “who triumph reason over pseudosicence” tend to be radical and anti-social anyways. Along human history, this has not changed at all.

People tend to be tough behind an internet meme, but please bear in mind, anti-social behaviors presented with some internet people may also reflect into their real persona. Show them fear or complete indifference, they will think you are weak and an easy target. Respond to them with insults, they will escalate their violent behavior. Managing this is key for survival. Timing is important too.

People who give into frequent anti-social behaviors, tend also to produce anti-social violence. When anti-social people become violent, then there is no doubt their violence may become asocial, and they will kill people –or at least, try their best– who they may think is their “enemy”. Their “enemies of reason” are not people, they are prey, are targets, are monetary assets, etc. In short, their enemies are not human beings for them.

Much like when a thug, when /she/he/it does not get what they desire and see you as too easy or too hard a “prey”, will kill you, or even die trying yo do so!

Narcissistic people have many anti-social traits and behaviors, so there’s no surprise some of them practice asocial violence and become murderers.

You should not be outright scared, but being wary is of course adviseable.

    Kind Regards!!

I believe I have the identity of this Nicholas, who otherwise goes by the handle of lfc_nicholas or nicholaspradolfc. To “deconstruct” his handle his full name is Nicholas Prado. “lfc” probably refers to Livepool Football Club (LFC) since on his facebook page he lists the club as his sport interest. Facebook lists that he either is a current student or an alumnus of University of Texas – Arlington studying astrophysics and cosmology (I guess graduate level because there’s no major/minor in what was listed). Under the misc. section he has joined various groups dealing with atheism, Richard Dawkins and nihilism.

Nicholas Prado’s facebook: https://www.facebook.com/nicholas.prado.39 and twiiter account: https://twitter.com/lfc_nicholas.

  14. I can’t believe that that person treated you that way, and on behalf of atheists, I apologize. I want you to know that we’re not all bad, we don’t all think we’re morally superior, and we’re not all assholes like that guy was. Both atheists and religious people can be mean and both can be understanding and kind, and I hope that that person didn’t ruin your impression of all atheists, because I promise you, most of us are really nice and really cool to talk to.

  15. Doug says:

Greetings, Closet – and welcome. You are certainly correct when you right “both atheists and religious people can be mean and both can be understanding and kind.” But I’m surprised that you feel that you can speak for atheists (“most of us”) — how many atheists do you know personally? 😉

  16. Doug says:

    that’s embarrassing: *write :-p

I appreciate the sentiment, but Nicholas wasn’t the only atheist clapping and cheering when Dawkins instructed tens of thousands of atheists to go out there are mock and ridicule religious people. Nicholas is expressing typical New Atheist views, much like those of Dawkins, Harris, and Coyne. The difference is that these New Atheist leaders/actvists are smart enough to fly that message under the radar. If you listen to Dawkins’ assertions, the conclusion that would follow is that I am a mentally ill child abuser. The difference, as I see it, is that Nicholas is just more honest and courageous than someone like Dawkins.
