Spot on

Yes, I think that is when many people began to realize the “experts” had a credibility problem. I also noticed how the experts would go on and on about the number of new cases, but never made an effort to calm people with the data that showed people with covid were quite unlikely to die. Instead, they wanted us to be afraid.

BTW, the same experts who tried to terrify us with Covid also preach the climate change apocalypse.

  1. This is what happens when a once-great culture is taken over by utterly corrupt and barely competent sociopaths who have no moral restraints. At the risk of invoking Godwin’s law, it’s eerily similar to 1930s Germany.

I note that this section of the letter makes as much sense when applied to worship, etc, as it does when applied to protest, etc:

Therefore, we propose the following guidance to support public health:
    ● Support local and state governments in upholding the right to protest [worship] and allow protesters [worshipers] to gather [congregate].
    ● Do not disband protests [congregations] under the guise of maintaining public health for COVID-19 restrictions. …
    ● Prepare for an increased number of infections in the days following a protest [service]. Provide increased access to testing and care for people in the affected communities, especially when they or their family members put themselves at risk by attendingprotests .

What’s sauce for the goose must be sauce for the gander; if like for like is not the practice, so that secular activities are treated more favourably and more leniently than religious activities then (as SCOTUS has ruled) that’s discriminatory (also unconstitutional?)

  3. Dhay says:

Erratum: please amend “attendingprotests .” to “attending [services].” and double-un-paragraph (to left margin) the last paragraph.
