On atheism, there are no limits to acceptable behaviour except the artificial ones that society imposes. Any “limiting principle” one might offer is just another idea one could accept or reject; argue for or against.

Some years ago, I read a short-story online. I had the impression that the author was in his late teens or early twenties; it was well written.
As the story begins, a guy agrees to impregnate his girlfriend, because she’s “ready” and it will “make her happy”. As the story progresses, you come to understand that it’s not that she’s “ready” to be a mother, but that she’s ready to have an abortion-as-orgasmic-art. In this story, the Medical-Industrial Complex has come up with a way to turn the process of pregnancy-culminating-in-abortion into a Super-Duper Orgasm. And the women make competitive Art Projects of their pregnancies-culminating-in-abortions.
As I said, it was well-written … and it was horrifying.
